Feito pelo podcast Anime Crazies juntamente com a Omelete Company, o Anime Awards Brasil irá premiar os destaques do mundo dos animes de 2021.
A quarta edição do evento conta com 30 categorias ao todo e reúne os principais criadores de conteúdo e sites especializados do país na votação. Além disso, o público também pode participar ativamente nas escolhas dos vencedores: até o dia 28 de fevereiro, uma votação popular será realizada, enquanto o júri especializado também faz suas escolhas – ao final, uma média entre as duas fontes de voto é feita e a partir dela são anunciados os vencedores.
Existem também categorias em que apenas o voto popular é levado em consideração: Melhor Personagem Feminina, Melhor Personagem Masculino, Melhor Performance em Dublagem Brasileira e Melhor Anime Dublado. A votação pode ser feita no site oficial da premiação.
O evento será apresentado por Tati Mafort e Renan, do Anime Crazies, e Moo e Jack, do Bentô. A premiação será transmitida em 12 de março nos canais do Omelete e do Bentô e também contará com convidados especiais e atrações musicais. Roberto Fabri, CCO da Omelete Company, comentou sobre o evento:
“Estamos felizes em apoiar pelo segundo ano consecutivo esse projeto. O tamanho e a força da cultura Otaku na cultura pop é uma realidade.”
